Riding gear

Next to the bike and camping gear, we also spent a lot of attention to our riding gear. First of all because safety is very important to us, but also because we spend quite some time in it, so the more comfortable it is, the better.

For our suits, we chose to invest in Klim suits. Not the cheapest option, but it was well worth the money. They keep us dry in the worst downpoors and the ventilation is superb, even in temperatures of +35°.

Sofie's head fits perfectly in any Shoei helmet, size XS and she recently purchased the new Hornet X2/ADV matt silver helmet. Since she missed the butterfly from her previous XR1000 Flutter, the Hornet got pimped a bit with butterfly stickers:

Finally, our boots. One broken ankle a couple of years ago has stressed the importance of good lower leg protection. Jo is riding in Sidi Adventure boots, while Sofie has chosen Forma Adventure Goretex boots.
