Due east

Today starts out grey again but it stays dry so we decide to do the last planned trip east towards Cap du Grouin.

The overcast weather results in some dramatic images.

The entire peninsula of Cap du Grouin is a natural reserve with thousands of birds nesting on the rocky shores.

This concludes the rides we do around the region.

Our final day is spend around the campsite enjoying the sunshine and we take a final walk into the village of Saint-Lunaire. When we head home again, the weather continuously deteriorates and we have rain almost all the way back. It seems that we made a very good decision with our destination.
