If the boot Phits…

Motorcycle boots are usually designed to keep your feet and ankles safe in case of a crash, which means they are pretty sturdy but they are not necessarily the most comfortable walking shoes. Since we hope to visit quite some sights while on the road, we wanted to improve their hiking capabilities with some new insoles. So a few weeks ago we had a footscan-analysis made by Phits and this week our custom-made, completely personalised and 3D printed insoles arrived. And they are looking great!

Making the scan is pretty easy. You just have to walk up and down over a scanner a couple of times and immediately you get an insight in your gait analysis. It’s pretty interesting to see how you walk from a pressure point of view. Turns out I put more pressure on one foot than the other and the muscles in my calves need stretching!

We now each have our own personalised set of insoles and they are really great! Our motorcycle boots have instantly transformed into very comfortable walk shoes!
