Sunday starts pretty wet.
Since that steep hill can be pretty slippery when wet, Blazo advises us to sit it out and wait for the rain to ease off. Apparently around luchtime it should clear out. So we take shelter in the dining hut and make full use of that wifi connection.
But sure enough, around 11.30 AM the rain stops and we can finally start our descent. But not before we tackle that steep hill. Sofie is pretty nervous about it, but flanked by 2 brave and strong Montengrins she makes it up effortless and then we’re off to Kolasin. The road down doesn’t seem as hard as it looked going up and the FZ6 is truely showing it’s adventerous side.
This is what Kolasin is most famous for: some pretty awesome skiing slopes.
Inland Montenegro.
Lake just past Niksic.
And then the first view of the Adriatic see and Croatia.
We aimed for Dubrovnik since that was what almost everyone at the meeting was telling us to visit. The campsite is not that difficult to find but it is definitely the most expensive camp site we have ever visited. Oh well, it’s only for one night and there’s a direct bus line going to the old city centre so we just go for it.
After a quick shower we hop on the bus and go straight to the centre. And Dubrovnik does not dissapoint, although we need a few minutes to adjust to the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist trap.
We cash out on some delicious dinner.
